The tin note is really nice but I didn't care for how it smoked, nor did I care for the room note. I'm going to cellor it for a while to see what that does.

Extremely Pleasant Smoke
I have not been disappointed with any of the Mac Baren pipe tobaccos, and the Original blend is no exception. After having smoked a bowl, I can see why the reviews are so positive. The blend is smooth, flavorful with no bite and it burns well. I enjoy it anytime of the day!

Very fine pipe tobacco, packed in a resealable tin .
From the moment you crack open the tin till you have finished smoking a bowl the proprietary aroma will keep you happy. A mixture of flavors unlike any other. It reminds me of times ago when fedoras and pipe smoking was scented in the wind in metropolis sidewalks much sweeter than the prevalent cigarette smoke. I would definitely recommend this wonderful Mac Baren Original Choice Blend.

MacBaren Original Choice
This blend was introduced to me by a friend and it was immediately addictive! I enjoy all types of tobacco but for a light aromatic this is right up there. The flavor is mild but very consistent through the whole bowl. Reminiscent of an OTC blend, which is good at any time of day, has a pleasing aroma, and tastes great through the whole bowl. The flavor is slight vanilla with some sort of rum or whiskey note. I can't differentiate further but I do enjoy it. Give it a try and you might enjoy this one too!

Original Choice
Cherry... strong cherry that sublimates the tobacco and light vanilla that plays in the background. Room note reminds me of an air freshener... glade cinnamon apple. burns well, no bite on this one. I'm not a fan of cherry-flavored tobacco... give me honey, chocolate, molasses, licorice, hazelnut, etc... but not cherry. If you like fruity tobacco, you'll like this.
