Just trying it
I am trying this for first time. I have only smoked a couple of pipe full with it. But so far have enjoyed it.

It's alright
Don't get me wrong, this didn't leave me much with a 'wow' factor. However, it's not bad. It's smooth, mild with flavor. You get more tobacco than you do with the flavor profiles. I'd say if you are a cigar smoker, or have smoked a cigar. Than you would enjoy this tobacco.

Mac Baen Black Ambrosia Loose Cut
Only 1-2 bowls, so not too much to assess. I enjoy this but need more time to fully determine.

Just OK to Me
I was expecting this to be great, given the reviews. I guess satisfaction really is a function of expectations. Disappointed.

Mac Baren black ambrosia
It can in a round metal container. It’s ok but I also got some lane limited q1 and this brand pales to it.

Mac Baren Black Ambrosia Loose Cut
Thirty years a puffer-- mostly artisanal aromatic blends-- I was looking for something dependable, in tins, to put by (with the world going nuts, shipping uncertainties and random product recalls every day) when I stumbled on this-- ordered with a shipment of good old Navy Flake. Oh! My! Smells like fruitcake in the tin. I didn't even dry it (just smoked it slow in a thick-walled bulldog.) It stayed lit with moderate tamping. Tongue was drinking light fig and lemon, rich port and raisin, without being cloying or biting. The black Cavendish balanced the light Virginia to perfection. Fell in love with fire and smoke all over again. I'll keep my palette exercised, but I think this is the one. Due to bad weather recently, I smoked in the house for the first time in a long while-- even my Lady liked it.
