Lane Limited Buttered Rum Pipe Tobacco

Great flavor and room note. The tobacco is however very dry. I recommend packing it lightly and smoking it slowly in a pipe you know smokes cool to avoid it getting to hot. Other than the above mentioned, I am not dettered from buying it again. Good product.

It's a very light aromatic. Very dry, clean easy smoke. If you want just a touch of aromatic with a very neutral tobacco this would work.

Lane Limited Buttered Rum tastes like its name sake. A silky buttery flavor with a hint of rum.

This one is my second choice of flavors and in my rotation.

Another good smoke from Lane, but I’ve yet to taste one of their tobaccos I don’t like. Very smooth, nice flavor, I’ve found it goes well with a caramel mocha coffee.

Mild but burns too hot. Taste is off. It says ribbon cut but it’s more like flakes. It packs funny and draws hard. I find myself mixing it with Q-1 to add some structure, otherwise it burns like wet leaves on a fire. Unfortunately I bought a pound of it so I’ll probably mix it in with other tobaccos a little at a time. Not recommended.

I've tried many types of pipe tobacco over the last 30+ years...until I tried Buttered Rum. It's totally relaxing and smooth. I've asked my wife to secretly purchase and hide a pound so I never have to worry about running out.

Not great. Burns very fast and dry. Odd taste. Won't buy it again and doubt I'll finish what I have.
