Mixed results
I see why folks enjoy this. Wonderful aroma in the bag and very smokable right out of it. The aroma didn't translate to taste though. It's a cool, easy burning tobacco. I like a mild blend but this was a little too mild. I mixed it 1:1 with an English that's too stiff for my liking, and the result is quite nice.

I could say the same about all the Lane Limited tobaccos I've tried—they’re consistently excellent. While they may not deliver a strong flavor, each blend is undeniably enjoyable. Lane 1-Q was one of the first I sampled, and it left a good impression. I've just ordered several more pounds of different blends from them. For the price, you really can't go wrong. It always lights easily and burns smoothly. Although many claim there's no tongue bite, I’ve found that, like with most tobaccos—especially aromatics—you need to puff slowly and lightly to avoid it.

Meh
I'm not really a big fan of aromatics in general, but since this is apparently the most popular pipe tobacco I had to give it a try. This blend is fairly smooth and burns well. It's just very meh. Leaves a bit of a chemical taste in the back of my mouth. I've had worse and I've had better. Probably wouldnt buy it again.

I bought this based on reputation & it didn't disappoint. Great room note, no tongue bite. Flavorful with no bitter taste at all. Part of my regular tobacco rotation from now on

I’ve been told that this is a favorite go to tobacco for a lot of people! I enjoy it, it’s a mild vanilla flavored tobacco that tastes really good! 10/10 will buy again!
