Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Kentucky Vintage Cut
I'm a big fan of GH pipe tobacco's. And I typically lean to the big hitters (Coniston, Brown Twist Sliced, Dark Flake Aromatic). I tried the Kendal KY several years ago but in the shag cut. Didn't care for it. In fact, disappointed. Decided recently to try this blend in the vintage cut. Much, much better for me. I call it a medium strength blend. Good with a fresh cup of coffee in the morning or a good bourbon in the evening. Not over-powering but just a high quality smoke. It might have a very slight topping but if it does, to me, it is very subtle. Just a good, straight forward tobacco. I will purchase this again.
