Pre codger black cherry
This isn't an American sweet aromatic. This style predates codger blends, and American sweet aromatics. This is a Lakeland aromatic. A bit tart, and black cherry, not sweet red cherry. Earthy, a bit floral. Do some research, learn regional styles of blending. Appreciate those styles for what they are, not what you think they should be. Learn pipe tobacco history.

good blend
I found this blend to be quite good. The cherry is tart and mingles with other flavors to the bottom of the bowl. First light has a sweet slightly medicinal cherry too note that settles into a semi sweet tartness. Other flavors appear and blend together over the course of a bowl. Recommend to all Enthusiasts and newcomers alike. For those who want a stronger experience try blending some GH dark unscented flake. The flake raises the power level without masking the flavors. Call it a “Cherry Bomb”..

Ugh
Nothing of a cherry taste, tobacco was dry. Tried to rehydrate with soft stones but it didn't work. Don't waste your money on this tobacco.

Not very cherry
Only has a very slight hint of cherry. The tabac is extremely moist and towards the end of the bowl you can hear the condensate in the pipe stem. Overall the smoke had less taste than a cigarette.
