Virginia cream
A Virginia flake guy, who sometimes wants something a little extra. This is it. The tin note smells great. Honestly, this wasn't a home run right out of the gate, for me....but as I found myself going back to this blend, over and over, I realized how much I really did enjoy it. Buy it. A 2oz tin just isn't enough. When you want something just a little more flavorful than a straight Virginia, reach for The Virginia Cream.

It grows on you...
Well... I've smoked enough of this blend to make some honest observations about it. Upon opening the tin, the bourbon note was noticeable but not over-powering. I couldn't really notice the vanilla. The tin note was nice, but honestly who doesn't at least like the smell of a newly-opened tin of ANY G.L. Pease blend? But what counts is the smoke. Frankly, I was not too impressed with my first bowl or two of The Virginia Cream (and I generally like Virginias!), but after several days of smoking it, I'm liking it more and more. It grows on you, if you'll give it a chance. This blend IS smooth and creamy, but it didn't think it had very much oomph, flavor-wise. But after smoking it for a time, I'm getting much more out of it. This is unusual for me, as I normally have a pretty solid opinion about a blend early-on. The Virginia Cream sneaks up on you, then caresses you! I do reccomend this one, and be sure to give the blend a real chance. Also, one of the previous reviewers is right: smoke this gently to get the most out of it. Holy Smokes!

Smoke slowly
This stuff is amazing, but take your time and sip slowly. The flavor is exceptional and light, creamy and almost like vanilla.
