Oriental delight
Not a professional reviewer so I'll not carry on about the leaf nuances... I will simply say that this is a pleasant blend to me, comes at a perfectly manageable moisture level, smokes quite dry, and is good enough I grabbed more for the future. Easy to trim off with a blade but makes me ponder getting an old-fashioned plug cutter.

Temple Bar
A wonderful blend, just what you'd expect from GL Pease. In the tin, it has a rich, earthy, fruity or dates-type aroma. The Virginias are of the "bready" or "yeasty" type and are very nice. The tobacco is medium strength but gives a nice nicotine hit, not too strong, but you will feel it by the end of the bowl. Very relaxing to smoke. While wonderful I did not care for having to slice it, so if you are willing to work for the benefits of plug tobacco then you're fine. I enjoyed this, but I'll leave the slicing to the pros next time and go with the similar Regents Flake.

Temple Bar, a great smoke
This is a lightly sweet Virginia with a nice touch of Oriental sour. The Perique is a light spice with a raisiny feel sort of in the background. This blend is at most medium strength and medium in taste. If you like medium bodied Virginias and VaPers this will not seem like a powerful smoke. It's smooth, cool and clean, certainly within a strength range that could be smoked repeatedly in a day.

Very strong
I enjoyed other offerings from Mr. Pease, but this one was way too strong for me. Had one bowl. Didn't enjoy; could not savor or even detect the components (Va's, Oriental, Perique). I may give it another chance in the future, with a different pipe, and see how it goes. (I'd put it in the same category as "Gaslight", which was also gastly; like smoking roofing material) I have 15 or 20 tobacco blends for my rotation, but Temple Bar won't be one of them, sorry to say.
