Okay blend
Prior to taking up a pipe again I had several cigars a day for a number of years which led me to GLP robusto pretty quickly as it is low sugar a tic or two below medium and as GLP makes a number of my most favored blends it was an easy choice. Maybe the prior cigars have changed my taste buds for I feel this is more a flavorful “codger” blend. Than a true cigar leaf blend. It is fairly smooth with a decent flavor and low sugar which keeps any bite away. Burns well, few relights Recommend for most Enthusiasts and newcomers wanting to test blends with more substance.

Not for the Faint of Heart
I enjoy both cigars and pipe tobacco smoking. When I saw the advertisement for this Robusto pipe tobacco made with cigar leave, it caught my attention. This is a quality blend and burns well. However, it is not for the faint of heart. I suspect that maduro cigar leaf is used because it has a very strong flavor and a bit of a bite on the tongue. One might even get a little lightheaded smoking this blend. One would do well to enjoy this smoke with a good glass of bourbon. I would recommend the Robusto for the adventurous souls!

Very enjoyable
I used to smoke cigars so I was interested in trying this blend. What a nice blend and hat gives you good flavor and the aroma of a cigar. It burns slow and aroma is wonderful. Taste is that great tobaccco flavor. If you ever smoked cigars you should give this a try.
