For this English mixture, the Oriental tobaccos have been switched out with Perique, which gives the tobacco a couple of added advantages: it makes the flavor of the tobacco much more savory and it also contributes to aging the tobacco faster with more effect. Piccadilly should be a favorite of any pipe smoker, and once you try it you are sure to realize why we have fallen in love with it.

A Light but lovely English.
Highly recommend this blend. If you are trying to get into English blends, start here. Even if you aren't and you want a tasty, earthy, dry, cedar wood with an occasional subtle sweetness smoke - try this!

Good regular blend ingredient
This is a good tobacco for adding some Virginia sweetness and a bit of Latakia smokiness to a personal blend. I add Union Square for Virginia sweetness to my blends, but sometimes the sharpness has to be toned down and the flavor rounded out with some Piccadilly, which is light on the Latakia, and the Perique adds character but not the typical strong spice. I am not a regular smoker of English blends, but I think this would be very appealing to one who is.
