Mostly Virginias, with just a hint of Perique to spike it a bit, Former’s Cross Grain Flake is a nice mellow smoke for those who love this type of blend. Named for a particular type of briar grain, the presentation of this Flake might make you think of a cross grained smooth smoking pipe. Lay a piece or two out to dry and enjoy a slow-burning and mellow smoke.

Formers Cross Grain Flake
This blend has Virginian which all Virginian I have smoked is harsh, burns your mouth after several bowls. When I started smoking, I bought all virginian unblended, I bought all the unblended varieties to sample. Virginian is one I definatley will buy less blends with Virginian.. I have purchased the fired virginian, NO GOOD.. Berley is a better choice.

FORMER'S CROSS GRAIN FLAKE PIPE TOBACCO
This blend is dominated by Virginian tobacco that has a burning sensation. I don't like it. Was a waste of money, I smoke two bowls and walked over to the trash can and released it from my hand.

Former's cross grain
I find the straight grain slightly more flavorful to my taste.

My first vaper
My first vaper and won’t be my last so it isn’t bad. My obefly complex but hatred it to get some age and retry it later after a couple bowls. Looking forward to seeing how well it ages.
