Mild & smooth.
FBEF is so mild & smooth that it's the perfect start to my day. Has a touch of natural sweetness with a hint of citrus. The perique is barely noticeable but it's there. I'd love to cellar some tins as I suspect that this would age really well. FBEF would be a perfect blend for those venturing into non-aromatics or as an introductory va/per. My only criticism is that it doesn't come in bulk. None-the-less, I intend to buy more. Highly recommended.

Formers Birds Eye Flake
Premium Virginia Perique mild blend. Creamy texture smoke. Clearly, the best leaves are chosen and it's "handmade" claim shines through. Very mild nic hit. Prefer to smoke this in the morning but it tastes so good that my coffee interferes with the enjoyment to be obtained. It arrives drier than others and is ready to smoke. You won't have to relight this or clean much at all from your pipe.
