Burns super hot.
I have tried this pipe 5 times with Falcon moisture absorbers and each time the absorber burns and leads to a very hot and unpleasant smoke. The entire pipe stem gets so hot that I can't touch it. I must be doing something wrong, but I have given up.

What a Gift
Received this pipe stem as a gift with a Dover Rustic Tobacco Pipe Bowl. I really like the slight bend, it still allows for a pipe cleaner to pass from the bit all the way to the bowl base, no problems. The bend is also helpful when lighting the pipe the bowl isn't directly out in front of your eyes. I really like the brown coat it lets this Falcon stem stand out from the others. I am interested in getting another stem; definitely recommend.

Bought this bowl with Falcon Bulldog Rustic Tobacco Pipe Bowl. Arrived nicely packaged, the combination has a nice look. The pipe is nice and light but has a generous bowl size and seems very well made. Just breaking in now, but overall very happy with the purchase
