The Falcon Dry Ring pipe filters are not as much filters as they are pipe cleaners. These filters sit in the base of the stem and absorb the "goo" from the tobacco as it runs through the base of the bowl. Shake out after each smoke and replacing for every new bowl is the recipe for having a perfectly flavorful smoke in your Falcon pipe.

Great invention they work great. Have to be changed every couple of bowls but besides that no more gurgling pipe and bitter tar backwash. Oh and the pipe can be cleaned and dry ring changed while smoking a bowl. I can clean my pipe completely and thoroughly in a minute or less!

Falcon Rings
If you have the time, these would be easy to make on your own. For the price, why not throw a couple bags in on your tobacco order. Who knows? They may even put you over the amount for free shipping. Seriously though, I do not notice any difference in smoking enjoyment with or without these rings in my Falcon pipe. I suppose it is a bit easier to clean when using the rings but it's not hard to clean either way.

Nothing special here, simpler to order fine pipe cleaners and make your own with a pencil and wire nippers.

I don’t know if these are ONLY for Falcon pipes or not, but they don’t work very well for a non-Falcon pipe. Glad they weren’t expensive.

Easy to install. Adds to smoking experience (took awhile to locate a place to purchase)
My falcon pipe has been my go to pipe. It is comfortable in the mouth and doesn't cause much of a tongue bite. Hope to have the pipe for along time, now that I can keep it clean.
