F & K Cigar Company may best be known for their Piper's Cigar. Founded in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1926, they have gained valuable experience and knowledge of what makes a smoker happy. They make sure that experience is put to perfect use by creating the tasty F&K white label blends.
We carry five different F & K Cigar Company blends, with each of them earning high praise for their quality. They also have some rather unique names, which can be very eye catching by itself.
We'll start with the "Sterling Balkan." This is a full, rich tobacco that combines matured Virginias, Orientals, and a substantial amount of Latakia tobaccos. With this smooth and cool tobacco, you will get comfortable hints of sweetness and a satisfyingly pleasant room note.
Next is their "Lancer Slices." You will get a nice combination of sweet Virginia and smoky Latakia tobaccos here. This is a smooth and full bodied blend, coming in a broken flake cut. A sweet flavor with smoky undertones, you will appreciate the fruity scents that come with this tobacco.
Now we come to "Black Bayou," a traditional English blend. This combines Virginia, Oriental, dark-fired Kentucky, Perique, and Latakia for a massive party that comes in a ribbon cut. "Black Bayou" is a full-flavored blend, but it does not overpower with any one tobacco. You will get some spice from the Perique, some smokiness from the Latakia, and some sweetness elsewhere. All these flavors work well together, making for a comfortable smoking experience.
If you are looking for an interestingly named tobacco blend, try out "Merde de Cheval." The myth behind the name goes that an older customer would try multiple different blends and never be satisfied with his choice. Finally finding a mixture that pleased him, he walked into the store, stating, "I want more of that horse shit tobacco you sold me."
Finally, we have "Bat With A Hat." This is another unique name for a tobacco blend. It features a mixture of Burley, Virginia, and Green River tobaccos, with a liquor and caramel flavoring. A fun tobacco to enjoy, F & K explains it "tastes like heaven and is crazy as hell."
