Escudo
One of the better VaPers out there. The coin presentation is great as well as the tin note. In larger pipes, it can be folded, else rubbing it out works. The Virginias are present with the perique right behind. Burns great with few relights.

Good Coins
This smokes juicy and tangy fresh out of the tin. Perique is very present and tingles your nose upon retrohale. Virginia's are sweet and bready and very much smokeable out of a new tin. Coins are a bit on the moist side but could be dry out to liking. I agree with some aging to already fine Tobacco could give it some more shine. But for now, Escudo gets the well deserved appraise and recommendation.

Escudo
Everything you’ve ever read or heard about this wonderfully dynamic tobacco is true. It’s got a unique taste that enchants your taste buds from the very first draw and it never quits. You’ll love it.

Escudo
The escudo is a great tobacco. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that he tastes very much like sandalwood. If you compare it to the Dunhill De Luxe Navy Rolls, Dunhill is not. At first, I thought it was not the same tobacco but it probably has to do with the storage time. Therefore, for me, the name "De Luxe" at Dunhill is justified in the Escudo, however, rather not. But if you look at the price, would I recommend buying Escudo and just storing it for a few months or years ?! I will store it and try again later. Nonetheless wonderful tobacco! A must for all VaPer friends.

not thrilled
I've only smoked 1 partial bowl of this so far. to me personally, it wasn't good at all. but I went ahead and put it in a jar and will try it again later.

Great stuff and better with age.

The Best
Searched for occasional VA/P blend for the rotation and found it. Usually, I try to buy bulk but wanted a great taste no matter if a tin or bulk. This blend is smooth and flavorful and worth the extra cost.

High Quality va/per
Escudo is pretty good fresh out of the tin, but like the Dunhill blends it is fantastic with at least 6 months of age on it. Less spicy and more sweet than the now discontinued Dunhill Navy Rolls, Escudo also has a very slight sour note that I enjoy. Fruity comes to mind when I think of Escudo. In my mind this one is meant for aging. You won't be disappointed.

The Holy Grail of VaPers!
I use a 1-speed food processor to chop the coins up and let it sit in the open on a plate for about an hour. It has a wonderful sweetness for the first part of the bowl and progresses to an awesome spice and pepper nose tickle. As the sweetness goes away the Perique takes a step forward with an earthy spiciness to the bottom of the bowl. Burns very well! It can be a bit harder to keep lit if drying time is not allowed.
