Elizabethan clay pipe
Mrs. bought this pipe for my birthday. Was much smaller than either of us imagined. She resigned herself to calling it a gag gift for a pipe smoker. However, it is historically accurate as many have been dug up at Jamestown. Amusingly it looks like a hash pipe and I worry about it being found in the chance of a pullover LOL! For a quickie smoke, no more than ten minutes, can't be beat. Holding it is OK once you get the trick of it. Am worried about heat break in the long run, but my blend of burly and Virginia does well and for some reason the sweetness of the Virginia is amplified. If it doesn't survive constant use, and old English smokers did not use them as frequently as smokers do today, for the price it is a good smoker. By the way, ordering and mailing can't be better. Well done all around.

Are this pipe usefull?
More small than I imagine... The hole that connect the bowl and the stem is too big. The amount of tobacco that can fit there is so little that can't last 10 minutes...

nice pipe
Received in a timely manner. Pipe is in a cinch sack. It would be nice to find a more protective case. Pipe is nice to look at and smokes well. Good draw, but I believe the tobacco needs to be packed well. For a novice pipe smoker, I liked the experience of smoking a clay pipe. Did some research and avoided burning myself as the bowl will get hot. And if you smoke too fast, so will the stem. Good practice for measuring your breathing and pace of smoking. For the price, I like this pipe.
