Dutch Masters Whiskey
Decent tasting tobacco, smells good but burns too hot. Cannot recommend.

Better than anticipated
This was another in a series that was being reviewed and presented as one of several recommended whiskey top note blends. My great grandfather used to smoke Dutch Masters cigars so I was mostly prepared to try a pipe tobacco blend by DM out of nostalgia. I really wasn’t sure what to expect out of this pouch blend. That being said it was a decent experience. Not one of my favorites but not one that I disliked so much that it would get mixed in with my own version of Country Squires’s Whatever blend.

Oh so nice!
If you’re looking for a truly good old fashioned aromatic, look no further! This tobacco is like a nice warm hand sewn quilt on a cold winter night. Burley and bright leaf with a touch of Old Granddad bourbon and just a pinch of vanilla. Mouthwatering good, and those around you will follow you just to smell the aroma! No bite, easy to pack and light. Pure enjoyment.

Dutch Masters Whiskey Pipe Tobac.
Decent easy smoke, smooth enough for my taste. Each time one tried something new, there's always that uncertain element - will it or will it not prove low quality, or will it at least fall under the 'acceptable ...'. This tobacco did not disappoint me - in fact, I LIKE IT. Often, it has come to the rescue when few factors prevented my enjoyment of 'better brand smokes': The Blah. And every pipe smoker gets it. This tobac. comes milder for my set flavour pref. of a brand I started on 12yrs. ago, and still one of my favoured Whiskey mixture. Dutch M W P Tobac has its own merit as a balanced mixture, the Whiskey infusion is subdued - that won't send you diving into your car for brown bagging a Fifth. And the fact that it's newly blended and comes to please is worth noting. As for me, I am not a pipe culture afficionado. More like on the wings. I get what I want, as supported by a good, dependable tobacconists, like tobaccopipes.com of FL. Dutch Masters have been around in their business, and f they can do one or two pipe tobacco entry, I'd be excited to wait and expect even more surprises. The cost of a pouch in under a fiver - what a find, indeed!! But hey this one is mine, go get yours. zR.
