Nice pipe for the price
Nice finish on the bowl and goes well with my other pipes. First bulldog style pipe and good clincher.

slightly above Average
Good for a entry level pipe.

Grabow offers great pipes at an affordable price.

Royal Duke
Nice, smooth drawing pipe, well constructed. Bowl a bit small for me but great for a quick smoke or tasting tobacco.

Dr. Grabow Royal Duke
My grandfather had a bulldog pipe and I always liked the style. This pipe is great, doesn’t get too hot, and just looks fantastic. Dr. Grabow delivers consistently.

Royal Duke Tobacco Pipe
My first pipe in a very long time. Fits nicely in my hand, lights easily and stays lit. Good draw on this pipe as well. I've enjoyed every time I've used it so far.

Bulldog pipe
Very easily my favorite pipe at the moment. Originally I undervalued Grabow pipes. I even ranked a cob above them in value per cost of pipe. With that said, I believe now that I was wrong. Not just based on this bulldog style pipe. I have higher priced pipes, a few Artisian pipes. My main go too pipes are 5 Dr.Grabow's. I lean to the rusticated more cause I feel they manage the heat better. This bulldog is still breaking in at just over 30 bowls smoked. It's holding its own against a more seasoned freehand Grabow with my two favorite pipe tobaccos. At this price, I fully plan to add 2 more of these pipes to my collection.

IMHO
This is not an expensive pipe- it is a very good value for the money- the stem is wide and comfortable, easy to hold between the teeth, and it smokes pretty cool- Nice looking...recommended!

Royally nice pipe!
I haven't tried any of the other Dr. Grabow pipes, but I really like this Royal Duke. I smoke my pipes a little too hot on occasion, and it never seems to overheat. The diamond shape on the shank and stem make it easy to a line them. The tip is wide enough to hold a rubber bit well, and I like the draw on it. I'm also a filter user, and his filters seem to do the job. It moves around at first, but after a few puffs stays in place. Easily one of my go-to pipes.
