A great purchase
I have thoroughly enjoyed this pipe. I usually enjoy a small bowl pipe so I wasn’t sure if I would like it. But I have been impressed with this pipe so far. The design is good and has a great draw. I didn’t notice the bowl getting too hot. I’m looking forward to using this as my got to pipe for some time.

Dr Grabow - Golden Duke
This is a wonderful smoking pipe. Take your time breaking it in (a few bowls). The bowl is big, the draw is open and smooth, and the draft hole is drilled spot on. I have quite a few "high-end" pipes, but they either burn hot, or I have to puff harder to get a good smoke which in turn burns my tongue. Not with this pipe. I love it. I just ordered my 3rd and will probably be ordering more.

Garbage!
After three days of struggling to make this pipe smoke, enlarging the draft hole and enlarging the pit in the fire chamber it would still clog and gurgle like a bubble pipe. all I got from this pipe was aggravation and a bad case of tongue bite. the only satisfaction I got for my $36 was smashing this pipe with a sledgehammer. don’t waste your money!

Great Value - Great Starter
I bought this as my first pipe. I figured it would be a good starter and I wouldn’t have much to lose if I didn’t take to piping. I have been piping for a few months now, and am quite fond of it. I’ve even bought a very nice Savinelli, however I can’t seem to break away from my Grabow! It’s weighted nicely, feels good in my hand, smokes smooth, good draw and cool, it has a “pre cake” on it that was very nice to not have to worry about breaking it in. It gurgles sometimes but I’m a fast smoker and smoke outside exclusively. I consistently get a good 30-45 minute smoke out of it. I would recommend this pipe to anyone: beginners or experienced smokers alike. I am noticing a lot of wear on the stem from clenching so I’ll be buying some soft bits, but again this is due to the smoker, not the pipe.

My Golden Pipe
The bowl is a bit bigger than i expected, thought it was smaller by reading the specs, but i can tell you, what a good surprise! Is not perfectly finished and sophisticated as some italians n 3x more expensive pipes, but it holds a fair amount of tobacco for a enjoyable 30-45min smoke and it smokes just like a charm! Great looking pipe as well, which will not satisfy some pipe snobs, but for this price range, you just can't get better than that.
