Dr Grabow Freehand Smooth Pipe
Longtime smoker of Dr Grabow pipes. This is my first freehand style pipe. Liking it a lot. Not too heavy. Feels good. Getting lots of compliments on it.

Good quality for the price, I purchased low quality pipes from the local tobacco shop for about the same price and was disappointed so I will only buy Grabow from now on.

Nice pipe
I never had a freehand style before because they're just too big. [ for my tastes ] but the Grabow Freehand though having a good-sized bowl is smaller and lighter than most. Smokes great, very happy with it. As always, a fine experience dealing with Tobacco Pipes, Thanks, Guys!

ok pipe
Too much taper at the bottom gets too hot. I like the size.

Not bad BUT........
The pipe came well packaged, still breaking it in, now here is the but. Since the bowl is tapered at the bottom, it gets extremely hot as you smoke it down. Now this may be due to not having a cake build up yet on it which will insulate it. May get better as time goes on. Time will tell. Not disappointed in the purchase, just hope time will improve the smoke which I think it will. I also own a the Savoy by Dr Grabow, and that has proven to be a very excellent pipe!!!

Nice pipe.
while Dr. Grabow pipes are not considered high end pipes, they are made very nicely. These are hands down one of my favorite line of pipes. They are nice priced and smoke great. the freehand is a very nice pipe and has a nice sized bowl that will will last about 45 minutes to a hour. everyone should have a Dr. grabow in there collection.
