Cornell and Diehl Sam's Blend
Very rich and smooth and flavorful, easy to smoke !! Like it very much !!

Nice mild latakia blend.
Burns very well, no bite, medium flavor and mild/med nic content. The black cav is slightly sweet, latakia is lightly smoky and leathery, and the perique is added with a light touch as to not overpower the blend. Not the most complex, but I like this blend for early in the morning or when the weather is too hot for a full English or Balkan blend. This blend would also be good for aromatic smokers who want to experiment with a little latakia.

For Latakia and Perique lovers.
I enjoyed Sam's Blend. It is not for the faint-hearted. The Latakia is there, but the Perique stands out. I have noticed in many cases, when you mix Cavendish with a Latakia blend, it will tame the Latakia more than the other tobacco's in the blend. The Cavendish does mellow out the smoke as a whole, but the Perique stands tall in this one. However, it is still a good smoke. The Perique is quite earthy in this and not peppery to me. Therefore it was enjoyable.
