Mississippi Mud
My tin was 5 months old when opened. It appears rather dry. The latakia is less prominent than I thought it would be. Seems to make itself known in the retrohale. Cavendish is a nice addition for satisfying plumes of smoke. Perique can be noted when you push it a little. This is a smoke I didn't think I'd like as much as I do. I won't be cellaring any but I could see myself replacing this tin when it's out.

Closest Product
After a long time and many trials, I feel that this tobacco comes the closest to McClellands Frog Morton series and their tobaccos in general.I bought several to cellar.

My top 5 English now
When I popped the tin opened, I thought it smelled like poo! To my surprising it was very good. Told my wife this is now in my top 5 English blends that my taste buds approve. Very yummy!?

Mississippi Mud
This is the first time I have tried this tobacco. Great taste, strength, burn and I enjoy the smell. My wife is not too happy with the smell so I pretty much need to smoke it outdoors, which is okay because otherwise I probably wouldn't smoke anything else.

Crave it when I think about it
I'm what I'd consider a novice pipe smoker, mostly only ever smoked cheap bulk pharmacy bags and mystery local shop aromatic blends, but recently started branching out and exploring all the variety pipe smoking has to offer. First I started with VA/per and home blends but then bought a few cans of other blends that sounded appealing, this being one of them. The smell was so odd upon opening, but very enticing and intriguing. It has such a creamy undertone almost like chocolate or coffee, and I think "mud" is so appropriate for the name. Just thinking about the smell and taste makes me crave a pipe and I find it so damn enjoyable. I like it much more than other latakia blends I've tried, which I also enjoy but this one really just stands out. One thing I noticed is the flavor changes/decreases towards the bottom of the bowl but picks up if you pack it down as you go. Perfect dryness and Im figuring out that I like it more packed tight.

Missippi Mud
Rather disappointed. Not nearly as complex as Quiet Nights. It is a smooth mellow smoke but rather bland. There is nothing really special that stands out for me.

Different
Ok, this was a tricky blend I wasn't sure at first it gave a lovely salty flavor but followed with sweet it was peppery but not overly I loved it and you can just pack or rub out a little kinda brings more of the flavor out if you rub my opinion.

One of my go-to staples
I try to always have a can of this around. Great flavor, non offensive room note and a decent nic hit. Great balance, I highly recommend.

a great old time tobacco. has a great taste and smell and buns at a good pace, not too fast.
I really like it for sitting on the front porch and having a smoke.
