To enjoy life is the simple, but often difficult to manifest, meaning of "Joie De Vivre" and we couldn't help but think this particular pipe tobacco captures it magnificently. This rich and complex blend peaks after eight to twelve years of cellaring, but it's pretty exciting right now too. Make believe it's Mardi Gras and enjoy a tin this weekend.

Cornell and diehl Jose De Vivre
This tobacco for me is one of the Best Smokey favorited with the star of the cake being the black cavendish! Cornell and Diehl Cellar editions are all well worth the time and fun trying all 10 tins, 4 to 5 stars.

Too much going on
I know a lot of people like this blend but for me the balance is way off. I think c&d should take step back and evaluate the number of blends they have vs the number they think they can produce well. Tin was swelling when recieved (no mold) but can tell that mold probably would have developed if cellared. Equal parts Turkish Virginia perique and Latakia is an odd combo here.
