Habana Daydream, despite the Island-like name, isn't an Aromatic. The blend of Black Cavendish, Latakia, Virginia and Perique has a dash of Cigar Leaf for which it is named. A bit like a 1940s era trip to Cuba...Ah, the glory days.

One of My Favorites
I like strong English blends and cigars. This is the best of both worlds. One of my very favorite bulk blends and trickles to the top during the warmer months. Cellers beautifuly also. I have some that is around 2 years old and the natural tobacco sweetness really comes out.

Habana Daydream
This blend has changed over the years, but what blend hasn't ? It is now more VA forward, milder, fruity. Another good C&D quasi-English. It used to have a random bitter edge (probably the cigar leaf). The bitter edge is gone. It won't knock your socks off in any single category. I like it quite a bit, but has to be aged 6mo-1yr at least. It does not taste like a Habana cigar, however, it is semi-strong in body, more subtle in flavor.

Exactly what I was looking for in a morning smoke.
I start each morning with a large bowl of Habana Daydream and coffee. The two go great together. The nicotine is high enough I can put my pipe down and start the day. It burns well. I love the flavor of this blend. After about a month of cellaring the pepper taste really comes through. Absolutely delighted I tried it. A bit strong for an all day smoke for me. I am guilty of a small bowl while in a rush from time to time.

Mmmm,… good
Very skillfully blended weed here. The tin note surprised me, as it wa not a powerful one like I was expecting. It is nice a sweet smelling with a lil smidgen of smoke. Taste it complex with out being to overwhelming. It’s a great smoke to suit and contemplate the big questions of life and the universe, or it’s equally good to puff while you do yard work. Taste best in a big cob.

Good tobacco
As an occasional cigar smoker I love finding “cigar flavor “ in a pipe blend. While there are a few similar blends, C&D really made a satisfying and flavorful blend. Great blend to “take a break” from standard pipe blends. Excellent with coffee or liquor, early morning or late at night. Recommend for the Enthusiast and newcomers ready to test new flavors!

great blend
Habana Daydream is an unusual blend. I found when packed in a slight tapered bowl it offers moments of a number of very good cigars. By that I mean for one bowl of tobacco I find hints of some well known cigars as the flavors evolve to represent how a cigar changes during a smoke. As an avid cigar enthusiast as well as pipes, I really enjoy the sips and tastes of fine cigars the blend offers. This is not a heavy tasting blend as it moves from connecticut to habano at first down to a maduro toward the end. The lack of rough edges lets the subtle mix of flavors shine. I will be keeping this blend in my vault from here on out. I highly recommend for all Enthusiasts and for those who would like to switch from cigars to pipes without losing the good flavors they have. And finally to the newcomer who may find cigars a bit hard to handle. this blend will give a good idea of what a good cigar tastes like..and I should know.

good blend
As a long time cigar enthusiast I know quite a bit about a good cigar. But as time passes I find it hard to spend twenty bucks on a cigar!. I was interested in habana daydream as a nice cigar in a pipe would make a lot of sense to me and my pocketbook!. I find a lot of good flavors that do mimic a cigar in this blend. while I will not list the cigars I think this blend imitates they are decent brands with one cigar costing as much as a tin of tobacco! Habana Daydream is a great way for folks to have a nice cigar flavor in a pipe. burn is good, no rough edges. I recommend for all Enthusiasts and those seeking a bridge between pipes and cigars!

Rich and Consistent
This is a daily "go-to" blend for me. Plenty of strength, but doesn't bite... There's a great balance of VAs and Cigar Leaf with just a hint of perique. I keep this in stock always.
