Cornell & Diehl Dark-Fired Kentucky Pipe Tobacco

Very happy with the way this adds flavor to my blending experimenting. Adds rich BBQ thick robust smoke.

I grew up in the Dark Fire Region of Tennessee which borders the Dark Fire Region of Kentucky, The smell reminds me of home and the smell of tobacco curing in smokey barns in the fall. as of yet no Yankee tourist has been banging on my door to tell me my barns on fire.

I find few blends to my tastes so I make my own. I finds this tobacco to be very nice in my blends. Sweet hint under a smooth core. The moisture level works well with my other components allow quick blending for a bowl. I use other C&D blender tobaccos and all are tasty high quality offerings. I highly recommend!

I blend a homebrew mix as I find few tin or bulk tobaccos to be good enough to smoke by themselves. Some have low nic, some have poor flavor, or takes a nasty turn midway in a bowl. So I quickly learned that to get a proper smoke I need to make my own. The C&D Dark Kentucky is a wonderful condiment tobacco. Slightly on the dry side, it burns well in the mixture. Sweet, smooth, blends perfectly. I feel the tobacco is very high quality and gives a wonderful richness to my blends. Highly recommend!

C&D Makes great bulk products, and this is no exception. Nice thick bags eliminate the chance of ruptures. TobaccoPipes is one of my go-to companies for bulk supplies for home blending.
