The beauty of the Atlantic
The bowl is moderate size, excellent architecture and drilling provide an outstanding smoke from the beginning. The carved rustication is distinctive, stem and stummel well fitted, bold blue rolling waves mesh with a stem shimmering of inshore wavelets. Ideal for any summer seaside visit, harmonizing beautifully with its namesake environment.

great theme
A beautiful pipe in dark blue and green stem. In the bright light the blue is really vivid. Smokes great and easy break in. The stem on mine is slightly crooked in the bend. The quality control at Peterson is not what it used to be. Those young lads don't give the attention as their predecessors did.

Beautiful stem and stain
It will take months to truly get a feel for the smoking quality of this piece but immediately I am quite pleased with the color pattern and rustication. It truly does give the pipe an Atlantic sea image, with greenish-blue waves. To watch a further review, you can check out this video: https://youtu.be/Fskt96Tn3Ec

Beautiful pipe
Gorgeous pipe with great rustication and a beautiful stem reminiscent of the ocean waves hence the name “Atlantic”. This particular shape is my favorite and it doesn’t disappoint. Upon first inspection the stem is mesmerizing, the bowl is very nice in the hand but a little rough around the edges because of the rustication. It’s a very deep texture with “flaws” that give it that woodsy feel/look. The only thing I noticed that I personally dislike is where the sterling silver band connects with the briar is not flush, it sticks out evidently, and that gives me a bit of an uneasy feeling so that is the reason for me not giving it a perfect 5-star rating, also hoping the finish does not wear off in my hands when smoking a little hot during bowls of aromatic tobacco. No sign of it yet. I find this pipe to be a great clenching pipe as it is not too heavy. Overall it’s just stunning and I highly recommend it. Feels like a true staple of the Peterson pipe brand.
