Cobblestone Chess Rook Pipe Tobacco

I enjoy Virginia tobacco. It is a flavorful leaf that needs a bit of proper preparation and patience to get the best from the leaf. The Rook edition in the chess series is a very good Virginia flake. Opening the tin I found a lovely fruit aroma mixed with matured tobacco. As with all good, aged tobacco the hint of fruit comes from the tobacco and not a topping making this a very good blend indeed. I am impressed with the quality of the Cobblestone blends of which I now have sampled three. My first impression is the quality of the leaf, and the clean taste of each flavor profile. In this offering I find delicate flavors of Virginia matured to a delightful rich profile that any Enthusiast would enjoy. power level is mild/medium. I recommend for all Enthusiast and any newcomer who is ready to try a Virginia Flake.
