The Holy Grail of Aromatic Pipe Tobacco. All of us serious pipe smokers often go to the ends of the offered blends to try and find the ultimate in flavor and aroma, at least I know I do. But somehow with all the tobaccos I have amassed, I always return to the genesis of what seems like my lifelong search. Captain Black Original is still the champion. It is both nostalgic reminding me of my younger times, and still one of the absolute best tasting and smelling pipe tobacco of all time.
