Do not have to clean as often
First I would like to mention how to get rid of the metal taste. Been using something similar for many years. I take the screen and heat very hot either with a butane lighter or a torch. The surface containments burn off - it will actually sparkle! There will be a black carbon coating left - the same type of carbon that the pipe is lined with. I do take it and flex it and then blow it out. This gets rid of any loose containment’s still left. Very important to do because that first draw will leave you a mouth full of soot. I would have given this a 5 but it is a little pricey...

Cost too much
It works, but 2 dollars for one screen is too much, in my opinion.

Dri-Kule Pipe Screen Pipe Tool
I wish this would have worked. I bought this in order to make a semblance of a false floor on some of my pipes which were drilled too high. Unfortunately, it imparted an aftertaste I will call metallic, which was just unpleasant. I used it once and tossed it.
