Absorbent, but sheds fibers easily
These pipe cleaners are fine for absorbing moisture and general cleaning, but they do shed fibers and leave behind some fibers on rough surfaces such as the interior of the draft hole or walls of the chamber. The fibers left behind are easy enough to clean/blow out.

Very absorbent and stiff enough to work through bends. Tends to leave behind some lint in the stem. It's easily blown out though.

Best daily cleaners I’ve found
I’ve used these pipe cleaners almost exclusively for several years now. They are, in my opinion, the best on the market for function and value. My only complaint about them is that some packs have a considerable amount of lint; I wish that would be rectified by the manufacturer.

Bj Long pipe cleaners
Can't beat them for the price. They do the job on my pipes including Falcons. The only downside was they "shed" some of their cottons more readily than the Dills.
