You know how difficult it can be to properly clean a churchwarden and other long stemmed pipes. What you absolutely have to have in your pipe maintenance kit is some extra long pipe cleaners. Churchwarden's Friend
These are perfect length for my Italian churchwarden. I take off the stem (after its cooled) and it fits the entire length. They are also pretty absorbent.

That's what they use pipe cleaners for?!
Amazingly, I never knew pipe cleaners were for <i>tobacco</i> pipes... until now. Not much more to say other than they do their job well!
