Balkan Sasieni Original Formula Pipe Tobacco

Nice mild Balkan mix. Grows on you.

I use to give this 5 stars but it seems to have lost some of its strength or my taste has changed It is however still a first class smoke with a clean and even burn and tolerable room note and a very reasonable price. I would recommend this to anyone especially a new Balkan smoker.

A good English blend, the first time trying it years ago I wasn’t impressed but cellaring it for a few years brings out the flavors and quiets it down.

Very tasty latakia! It is an irresistible blend. Burns smooth right down to the bottom. I have been smoking it in my after dinner pipe for 2 weeks straight. This is going to be in my regular rotation if supplies permit.

I love this tobacco, it is in my top 5. I love the complex flavors, smooth smoke and a decent nic level which are all satisfying! A great Balkan blend and love the latakia here, a great taste and enjoyable smoke. I highly recommend this tobacco be added to anyone's rotation, especially those who are primarily English blend smokers like myself that will enjoy a little change of pace. My wife doesn't love but also doesn't hate the room note with this tobacco, she finds the smell to be "different" which isn't all bad.

Delicious from the initial false light right on down, this is one I've enjoyed smoking to the bottom of the chamber for years. Relights are few and sometimes unnecessary with cadenced smoking, and the taste stays consistent to the end. Hopefully, I can develop the discipline to cellar a few tins to see if aging improves the blend, but I just keep returning to the tin until each is empty!

Just enough Latakia to keep your taste buds enthralled. Delicious & a tremendous value.
