Smooth oriental
Good flavor. Not as strong as some other blends I've tried. Good for a novice like me.

An Odd Resemblance to Peter Stokkebye
Oh, it's Balkan. Like Prince Albert, the word 'comfort' comes to mind when describing this. The first profile you encounter is decidedly and overwhelmingly oriental; buttery, musty, sour and a bit of spice... typical nuance of oriental and very pronounced. Though there's nothing special about the Orientals used, they're pretty generic. There's a good amount of sweetness, woodiness and slight citric acid from the VA. The latakia isn't real heavy in this, but it's been applied in good proportion. I've always thought of Orientals as a musty old leather-bound library book. Kinda tastes like that would smell... dusty and old. I like this and give it high marks as it's a pure tasting mixture with little additives and the proportionality with which the leaves were mixed is very good. It possesses a natural smoothness and is quite mellow, but also has just the slightest of that bright-citrusy Peter Stokkebye vibe. The room note is a smoky, verdant - cedar. It's pleasant. It's one of the better - true Balkans I've had. This is incredibly smooth and has absolutely no tongue bite - unlike Stokkebye. Cup a Joe's sells this in bulk form... wish tobaccopipes sold the bulk. Nicotine is 1.5 out of 5.

First time
This is my first balkan tobacco. Very good indeed. Not harsh, no bite, smokes cool and good English flavor. This and a good bourbon just doesn't get any better.

Balkan Sasieni
One of the best Balkan tobaccos ever! The Oriental/Turkish tobacco is predominant at first but then the Virginia and Latakia take their places allowing a full pleasure till the end of the bowl!!

Tobacco
Good——-but not as good as Balkan. Sabrani.

Pipe Tobacco
A wonderful blend. I prefer the original Balkan Sobrani. Do you have plans to restock Sobrani?

Excellent English
Great medium flavored English blend. If you decide to age it, it’ll greet you with a smooth, round, fuller smoke that is well balanced and lively. Smoke it fresh from the tin, it’s a little rough around the edges but still wonderful. If you don’t like this blend, you don’t like English blends. It’s the quintessential demo of a quality English blend, comparable to Presbyterian but more complex. I recommend aging it though.

Buy it!!!
Such a good, even smoke. I enjoyed out of a variety of my pipes. As a new pipe smoker, this is a good step up from an aromatic. Very flavorful and nice room note.
