Higher hopes for Backwood
For discount cigars with decent discount flavor I had higher hopes for this Cherry Pipe version. Slight cherry smell in the pouch. Not much of any flavor. I have two Sutliff to try and hoping better.

You hate to admit to your pipe-smoking friends how much you like this one, but you keep going back to it. Smooth with a light touch of cherry flavor.

Nice flavor...not exactly cherry but sweet on the tongue at first. Moist in the pouch and should be dried a little before use. All in all a nice everyday smoke.

There have been very few times that I have had such a rich, deeply flavorful, and consistently burning tobacco for my pipe. I was pleasantly surprised with every note of this tobacco, from its flavor to its ash.
