Best english blend I've tried so far. Excellent smoky taste, the latakia is right there, strong, but so well blended that you'll want more and more. No bite at all, incredible taste and smell.

Hands down, the best English blend I've smoked, and I always keep a tin in stock. It'll knock you back but won't bite. Very rich and complex.

I already have reviewed this tobacco when it included the Syrian Latakia, it was my favorite English tobacco. Now that the Syrian is gone for good and Cyprian Latakia has taken its place I have to rate this new tobacco a 4, good but not as good as the original!

Quality English
If you like English blends you can drop this into your cart with eyes shut. Latakia is the star, with an excellent supporting cast. It does not bite the genteel sipper at all but will get a little irritable with a puffer. I wish I could give it a 4.5 because 4 really is a little unfair. I reserve the 5 for perfection, and this falls short only in that it is generic English---it does not have a distinct signature that stands out from the pack. Hardly a crime in my book. I am going to buy it again, regularly.
